NOOSA SOUND TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE MAKING A BOOKING

Holidays at Noosa Sound usually run from Saturday to Saturday during the summer months. However, we do accept short breaks outside of these times. Please contact us directly for late availability bookings. Bookings are normally from 3pm on the day of arrival until 10am on the day of departure.

Included: Fresh linen and all electricity.

Deposit: We ask for a 20% non-refundable booking deposit with the balance payable at least 6 weeks in advance of your arrival date. TRAVEL INSURANCE is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED as in the event you have to unfortunately cancel at any stage of your booking, no monies will be refunded.  Payments can be made by cheque, (Made payable to Mr and Mrs Mason) or bank transfer.

PLEASE NOTE: SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED EITHER INSIDE THE COTTAGE OR ON ANY OF THE OUTSIDE VERANDA’S, DECKING OR WALKWAYS.

Occupancy: The cottage can only be occupied by those whose names are provided at the time of booking, up to the maximum of four persons. Any changes, which must comply with occupancy limit, must be agreed in advance in writing (including email). Occupation of the cottage is solely for a holiday within the meaning of schedule 1, Paragraph 9 of the housing act 1988. The letting does not confer on guests on short hold tenancy.

Cleaning: The cottage is thoroughly cleaned between each let. We do, however, expect it to be left the same way as you found it so that we can make it ready for subsequent guests within the turn around time available.

Please let us know before vacating at the end of your stay details of ANY accidental breakages or damage (inside or out).

Liability: We cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage of guest’s possessions. When you book, you agree to indemnify us against loss or damage (including large amounts of cleaning) to the property or its contents, and without limitation to pay us forthwith upon written demand our costs in making good any such loss, damage or cleaning. A detailed inventory check is completed after each let. Any evidence of breakages /damage/items missing that we have not already been advised of (and resolved with you our guest) remuneration will be sourced from the lead guest that made payment for the booking.

Tranquility: Noosa Sound provides a tranquil environment, and is suitable for family holidays and peaceful enjoyment of the area. It cannot be used for any other purpose, including any form of gathering or party. FIREWORKS ARE NOT PERMITTED AT ANY TIME. Please keep noise to minimum, and ensure that our neighbours are not disturbed at night. Breach of this condition will lead to cancellation of the letting with no refund.
